Growing up, I was always outdoors. It was a place of curiosity and rest – whether soaking in the sunsets on Lake Michigan, observing insects going about their busy routine in a meadow, or the peace found trekking in the woods. Since picking up a camera more than 15 years ago, I’ve enjoyed working with a variety of subjects – with a majority of my time spent around portraiture. Capturing unique stories through expressions and contextual environments is fascinating. More recently, I made the switch to explore the wilds from behind the lens and the change has been rewarding. It has reawakened my fascination with nature and I look forward to further exploring a glimpse of God’s creation over the many years to come.
